Teams
Five ways in
The first team plays in the Women's Premier Soccer League — the pre-professional national 3rd division. Everything around it runs all year, so our community can be part of the game, not just watch it.
WPSLFirst Team
Our inaugural WPSL season ended unbeaten in the regular season and in the Mid-Atlantic Conference Championship game.
Second Team
Where the step up happens. Players train with the first team and push for minutes in it.
Third Team
Competitive football for players building toward the senior sides, or coming back to the game.
7v7 Recreational
Open to everyone, running all year. No tryout, no résumé — turn up and play.
5v5 Recreational
Smaller, faster, year-round, and the easiest door in the building to walk through.

The Love City Football Festival
A one-day small-sided women's football festival at Ballers Philadelphia. Sixteen teams, four guaranteed matches, a jersey designed by a women's sports bar, and a party on the pitch when the last whistle goes.

The club
We play for the whole city
Love City FC is a women's club first and last: every team in the building is a women's team, and the pathway runs from an open five-a-side all the way to the national pre-pro WPSL. Drexel University's Vidas Field is our home, but the club is not a neighborhood project.
The point was never to field one good side. It was to make this a city where a woman who wants to play has somewhere to do it — every level, every month of the year.

What the game is for
The Love City Leadership Academy is run by the women of this club, for the young people of Philadelphia. Football is part of it. So is everything the game teaches when nobody is keeping score — and our players are the ones teaching it.
